Like any small business owner and parent, I soon realized that running my own shop was a recipe for stress.
There was always laundry to be done and lunches to be packed, and that stuff usually has to be done BEFORE looking at business emails and my calendar.
My partner-in-crime, Erica, is a life coach and a massage therapist. We met at a women’s networking event and quickly discovered we both wanted to forge a new path for women in business. We wanted to help women create businesses that give us the freedom to live a joyful life, based on ease, flow, and joy.
We founded Making Waves with a vision to create a collaborative and supportive group of passionate, committed women, who help each other elevate our businesses and our lives. We are determined, engaged, rising mompreneurs who are new to business or are looking to grow and expand in a whole new way. We are women who don’t want to do this alone. We are willing to be uncomfortable and to get messy, because we know that the biggest growth comes out of the biggest challenges. Our businesses provide a window for us to our own healing, if we’re willing to dive into our fears and resistance and work through them.
Through masterminds, marketing and business coaching, and fellowship, we are seeking women who don’t want to do it alone, but are ready to take the deep dive that’s needed to become great.
